Silverdollar Sportsman Club

The Silver Dollar Sportsman Club; while the name is only 3 years old, it's predecessor the Wayne County Coon Hunters has a long and proud history as one of Wayne County's oldest surviving conservation and sporting clubs. Since the Late 1930s The Wayne County Coon Hunters has been well Known for Coon Dog Trials and Trap Shooting. The Silver Dollar Derby over its sixty years in existence has become a Nationally recognized event with participants from all over the country competing. In the 1980s The club began hosting Bird Dog Trials, and since then, these have changed the dynamics of the membership, so in 2014 the name was changed to better describe the club. In recent years through the efforts of Rob Saurers we now also have a first class archery and pistol range at the club to go along with our 3 trap ranges.
